Azampur Station is a railway station in Akhaura North Union of Akhaura Upazila in Brahmanbaria District of Chittagong Division, Bangladesh. The country’s railway building was taken over by the Assam Bengal Railway Company, which was established in England in 1892. The public was first able to access the 150 km meter gauge line connecting Chittagong to Comilla and the 69 km railway section connecting Laksam to Chandpur on July 1, 1895. The Comilla-Akhaura-Shahbajpur Railway was founded in 1896. The Azampur railway station was constructed at that time as a stop on the Comilla-Akhaura-Shahbajpur route.
