The location of Mobarakganj Railway Station is Jhenaidah District, Division of Khulna, Bangladesh. Mubarakganj Railway Station is located on the Darshana Junction-Jesore Junction section of the Darshana Junction-Khulna line. In 1878, the British Government built the railway from Calcutta to Khulna via Jessore and the Chilahati-Parvatipur-Santahar-Darshana line to establish a direct service from Calcutta to Siliguri. However, after the country’s partition in 1947, the railway communication between the two countries was cut off. In then-East Pakistan, there was a disruption in the direct train connection between Rajshahi Rangpur and Khulna. As a result, in 1951 the government of East Pakistan quickly built a new railway line connecting Darshana Junction and Jessore Junction. Mubarakganj Railway Station was constructed during this period.
