Cox’s Bazar Railway Station is a railway station in Bangladesh that is close to the Cox’s Bazar bus terminal. The train station is the nation’s first iconic train station and was formally opened on November 11, 2023. The government of Bangladesh planned to build a rail line from Dohazari in Chittagong to Gundum in Bandarban. The intended Ghumdhum railway station was to be connected to the trans-Asian railway network. To increase tourism in the city the government also planned to construct an additional railway track from the projected Ramu railway station to Cox’s Bazar creating a second train station there.
